Haha, dog puns. This was for my zbrush class (just a high poly at the moment).

Gohma Cavern

An environment for my 3d environment class! It's a little shrine area for Gohma from Wind Waker.

Draggle!

I've been productive, haha! It's just a matter of... finding where I've been putting all my files. School's been such a frenzy these last couple of weeks, it's been a constant push forward. Eventually I'm gonna get a break to turn around and like, look upon this trail of work that I only vaguely remember doing.

I'm also up to my knees in WIP 3d models! Here's a zbrush bust that is no longer a work in progress, though:

A Brief Summer Synopsis

Ah, hmm, what can I dig out of my tumblr...

Well... at the beginning of Summer I messed around in Flash again:

Then I made a ton of self-indulgent comics:

etc...

Redrew (the upper half of...) my character from digital painting class, Sam Sails:
....made a quick little prototype robot with animations for the USC team I'm workin' on, Tree of Life...

...And a bunch o' other stuff, but that's the gist of my summer. Fall semester's already started! Time to get back into gear.

Cannonball Paul

After many years working in the carnival, Paul's sense of excitement and wonder has completely worn away. Now he spends most of his time being bitter and jaded. And short.

3d Animations

A small collection of animations I did back in my Riggin' and Animation class last semester! My instructor, Gavin Rich, made all the models. I just rigged and animated them.

Zbrush Final

Here's the ZBrush renders for that scientist guy I mentioned earlier! I liked how he turned out. His texture is kind of eh, but I'll have more control over that once I make a lowpoly and get his polypaint laid out over a nice flat UV.

I originally thought painting directly onto the model was so perfect (take that, seams!) but as it turns out it has its pros and cons and isn't a replacement for painting over UVs in Photoshop!

Mostly unfinshed textures... Hmm!

More Zbrush Stuff

The two miderm creatures:

Finished my retopo for both of them, but didn't render out all of their textures. :/

Here's my concept for their owner. He's a scientist who used to work at a lab making weird creatures, but it blew up so now he just wanders around the countryside with his two pets.

Chomp wips

One of my zbrush midterms, Chomp! The zbrush render is a missing a few minute changes I made later on, and I'd go back and fiddle with render settings again.... but... deadlines are looming! Rushin' through that topology... :(
